3 stars. This was very entertaining, if not a tad bit too long. It’s a little over 500 pages and it didn’t need to be if I’m being honest. A lot of it, particularly in the middle just drags on and on.

I liked the writing and I liked how over the top ridiculous all of this was. That was fun and there were some things that did get a laugh out of me. There’s a huge cast of characters and majority of them are insufferable but there were a few that I did like and that was Rachel, Nicholas and Astrid. ...more

Crazy Rich Asians is a story centering around one family as they try to figure out what to do with Nick Young bring home a girl that they say isn't good for him. The drama is never ending as one situation after another comes up.

I didn’t have many expectations for this book but I was pleasantly surprised. I don’t know much about Chinese culture so it was very interesting to learn some things while I read. I enjoyed the storyline too. It’s strange how people create these standards that they need to follow even if they are unhappy. I plan to continue the series.
