The world ended once. It will end again. The world ends, then the world comes back. The world always comes back.

The Infinite Sea picks up immediately where The 5th Wave ended. After barely surviving the explosion at Camp Haven, Cassie and the others take refuge at a nearby hotel, waiting for Evan to rendezvous back to their location. If he even is alive...
And oh did they do a lot of waiting. During The 5th Wave, the characters were always moving from Point A to Point B. I always prefer this to

"No way, Teacup. Promises are the only currency left. They must be spent wisely."

Holy Moly! I wasn't expecting this one at all! I'd seen some recent 3 star reviews and my stomach dropped...I NEEDED this one to be good. I loved The 5th Wave so much and have been obsessively checking IMDB and other sites for any update on the movie.

SO I was reluctant to start. But now that I'm done, and I have all this new information. There were SO many secrets that I didn't even know about - that have been expl

This one was actually so boring. Nothing happened. The 5th Wave was so action-packed and adventurous, and then this was really boring. I do like the way Yancey swaps words around though, the way he plays with the language and uses lots of detail and adjectives. Keeps me thinking. I like the multiple POV, and also the way (view spoiler) I like how Ringer played such a big part in this, and so much of the book was fr ...more

The Infinite Sea Review on K-Books <- Will go live on April 6th 2016

"They can kill us, even down to the last of us, but they can't kill - can never kill - what lasts in us."

The 5th Wave was such an amazing book for me. I really loved it and from the moment I finished it I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. I have to say The Infinite Sea... did not live up to my expectations whatsoever. I am so very disappointed in this book. I really struggled to get through it.

My main thing with t

If you don't want to spoil your good opinion about the first book of this series, than don't pick up this one, let it lay untouched. For it has nothing to keep you going.
(view spoiler) Evan's saved her life, twice, and still she's rude to him, shouts at him. And Evan like an idiot, a puppy. I really didn't like this part at all.
The story takes over two places - a hotel and an alien's base. From the beginning they have a plan (which I didn't figure out - the

I am loving this series. I fully expected to be seeing the world with the same perspectives as the 5th Wave, but what a surprise. In this novel we get questions answered about the aliens desires for Earth and their ability to manipulate others. I cannot wait for the last book to be in my hands to put this story to rest.
