This is both deeply personal and wonderfully executed. There needs to be a lot more literary works like this in the world. A lot more.

I had heard good things about this book and an opportunity to attend an author talk (virtually) with Maia Kobabe finally made me sit down to read it. I can see how a book like this would be an incredible lifeline for anyone identifying as non-binary or asexual, despite my being neither. I think it's important that as more and more books are available (particularly for teens or in graphic format) about the extremely wide breadth of the LGBTQ+ experience, that we see better representation of some ...more

I’m really glad this book exists, and I can see it being a relieving and validating experience for some folks to see themselves reflected in it; or an informative book for people wanting to understand more perspective on non-binary and asexual identity... I read this as part of my graphic novel book group of two. The other person in this book group is NB. They loved this book and felt like some things had literally be taken out of their own head. It blew their mind. As a cis-gender person I loved it because It was more visceral instead of just academically or theoretically learning things. It was very personal and that's what I mean about it being more of a "feeling" than just informational and educational. ...more

This book was a wild ride for me. Some pages I was like, "It's me!" and others were more "It's not me!" It was lovely reading about someone else's gender journey that shared so many stops along the way with mine. Really enjoyed the illustrations and colours. I will likely re-read this one in the future!

Recommended for anyone interested in graphic novel memoirs with trans content.

This was a well done graphic novel about a non binary Persons struggle through life. The artwork is good and the story is interesting. It was a quick read.
