What Members Thought
This is both deeply personal and wonderfully executed. There needs to be a lot more literary works like this in the world. A lot more.
I had heard good things about this book and an opportunity to attend an author talk (virtually) with Maia Kobabe finally made me sit down to read it. I can see how a book like this would be an incredible lifeline for anyone identifying as non-binary or asexual, despite my being neither. This book was a wild ride for me. Some pages I was like, "It's me!" and others were more "It's not me!" It was lovely reading about someone else's gender journey that shared so many stops along the way with mine. Really enjoyed the illustrations and colours. I will likely re-read this one in the future!
