It's a little short. But this book sets the series into its own story. I'd been thinking it was a bit unoriginal, and shockingly like Star Wars. Darth Vader=Valentine, Jace=Leia, Clary=Luke, Simon=Han Solo. I don't know, it seems so.
Anyway I can see the story growing into it's own shoes. Showing the more individual aspects of the world it's staged in as we learn more about Shadowhunters, and their past. ...more

Way better than City of Bones, but is the nonstop bloodbath REALLY NECESSARY!? I mean, you can't go a chapter without someone getting "pulverized!"
