----- 4.5 STARS -----
This was a really fun and quick read. I really really enjoyed the world and the characters it was amazing! It also reminded me quite a lot of sword art online which was pretty cool. The 80's references were fun though unfortunately I didn't understand most of them, which was a shame as I bet I'd enjoy the book even more if I did! ...more

Oh my God! This book though... I did not grow up in the 80s buy I don't think it affected my reading experience at all. You may be wondering why I said I didn't grow up in the 80s and that's because there are a lot of TV, movie l, and video game references from the 80s. I really enjoyed his book and think it should be a must read for everyone!

*4.5 Stars, but only because the ending felt a little abrupt*
This was such a good read! I feel like people who lived through the 80s might get more out of it, but regardless it was fast-paced and intense. It made me think about the reality of our world and what it means to live in it. So worth the read!
Favorite quotes:
