Though it is a nice book, I wonder where the hype comes from. I enjoyed reading it most of the time, but I would not put it on my reread list.
A compelling story that explores themes of love and destiny through the lives of a temporally-challenged pair of friends and lovers.
I saw the movie first, but I'm so glad I picked up the book! It's a more mature look and Henry and Clare's relationship over the years than the film. I very much enjoyed getting to see Clare's story develop; I really felt like I got to know her character so much better. The Time Traveler's Wife is a beautiful love story that managed to bring a few tears to my eyes. ...more
