Can there BE spoilers with a book this old? Well, this book was UNEVEN, to say the least. In the beginning, (for far too long) the book centered upon Rosemary and Guy, a perfect married couple and their new apartment and the frivolous discussions of decorating of said apartment....I felt like I was reading a decor magazine! Ira Levin's classic horror novel isn't conventionally frightening, but it cultivates an atmosphere of dread that propels the reader to its surprising conclusion.
