What Members Thought
My only exposure to Treasure Island prior to reading this was watching The Muppet Treasure Island. And all in all, considering they are puppets, it was a pretty good adaptation. Ian absolutely 1 million percent loved this book. Definitely a boy book and I can see why it's a classic.

I read this bec. it was a classic I had missed, and because Alfred Molina narrates. Excellent narration, very good story. I now know that Long John Silver's restaurants are named after the cook in this book--I knew LJS was a literary character, but not from where. A sympathetic protagonist, good plotting, exciting moments, and interesting sea terminology. Best of all were the different voices and characters that Molina created.
