I can't wait to see how the series ends, but I'm also going to be sad to let these characters go - they are (for the most part) fully fleshed out, complex people. I'm so glad I gave this series a chance - and I can't wait for the movie!

More like 3.5 stars. I liked the first book better, but I did manage to finish this book in 6 hours, so that's saying something there. I liked how Katniss developed as a character and seemed more sophisticated, but this definitely feels like a bridge that's needs to be crossed rather than a standalone story.

These books are addictive, but Suzanne Collins needs to cool it on the ellipses . . . It seems that every other sentence ends like this . . . It gets kind of annoying . . .
