What Members Thought
This one was definitely better than the first one. I was more invested in the characters and more interested in what happened to them. This was much faster paced than the first one, which I liked, and the reinvention of a major plot point already used in the first book made it a lot more interesting for me. A new character introduced was one I immediately took a liking to, so I had a better connection to everyone involved in the story. The ending was predictable, but tied up the loose ends well

After reading the first book in the series I couldn't wait to get this book. It was another fast read. I think this might be my favorite in the trilogy.

I liked this one even more than I liked the first, and I thought the first was pretty amazing. These are pretty radical, politically.
This was my favorite of the three books. I was totally absorbed as I read it - a great summer read.

while i thought the first hunger games book was different and definitely science fiction I could not stop reading so i had to get the next book in the series.
