Okay so I love love LOVE everything about this story, Wesley and Buttercup and Inigo and Fezzik....pure gold.
What I did not enjoy was everything else before and after the story. I know, I know, Goldman set out to be tricksy and Morganstern doesn't really exist and all the preface and the epilogue is completely made up. I commend him for pulling the wool over a lot of people's eyes. Clever, clever. But where my interest really lay was in the Princess Bride story itself, so I really didn't care fo ...more

One of the few books where I enjoyed the movie more.
Could have done without the introduction and the interruptions throughout. Next time I'll skip those parts.
