Julia Quinn's writing and speaking style is a bit more subdued and very thoughtful this time. The plot is emotional and deliciously written, and while there's a lot going on, the novel isn't quite as bubbly and turbulent as the others. But this in no way detracts from the humor and charm that characterize this series. I was really excited about this one. I knew eventually Eloise would have her romance. and I was excited to see what man could get her to settle down. I liked this book.
