Just too much Rachel/Ivy drama for me. I suffered through about 12 hours of that until the story got interesting. And, I'm not seeing any real character growth so I'm taking an extended, maybe permanent break. It was tiresome seeing Rachel make the same dumb mistakes over and over again through five books.

On a brighter note, the narration is excellent.

For a Few Demons More
3 Stars

Private Investigator and Ley Line witch, Rachel Morgan, has her hands full dealing with a mentally unstable demon breaking into her house, an apparent serial killer preying on newly turned female lupines, and Trent Kalamack who wants to hire her as security for his wedding. There is truly no rest for the wicked in The Hollows.

What is it with this series?! The storylines have such wonderful potential, but the angst between Ivy and Rachel simply ruin them. Their exaspe

There was so much going on. I loved all the action and wondering what was going to happen next. Rachel and Ivy are my favorite characters along with Jenks. It took me a while to be interested in picking this book up since the previous one bored me so much. I'm glad I finally got to this one now I can't wait to read book six. ...more

In This 5 book in 'The Hollows' series, it's sort of following the events that happened in the previous book. As usual Rachel has a lot going on. She's hiding an ancient artifact. The demon Agaliarept is back in this book. Trent is having a wedding, and Piscary has been released from prison. This proves a huge challenge for Rachel.
Rachel is also still struggling with her feelings for Ivy, which personally I don't understand, it's one of my least favorite things in this series at the moment. It

This is one of my favorite series EVER! Tons of action, tons of imagination, witches, demons, vampires, weres, pixies, fairies, elves, with a few humans thrown in! There is a great flow from book to book, but, definitely read them in order!

This series continues to go from strength to strength. I'm loving the energy, soul searching and big heartedness of the lead Rachel Morgan. Her friends continue to be a strong attraction for the series. Jenks and Ivy being principle among them. The dynamic Harrison as created amongst these three keeps me coming back for more.

There is a shocking death in this outing and I'm interested to see where the story goes from here.

Glenn's addiction to tomatoes continues. He is really branching out. ;-).

This book got pretty good toward the end, but most of the book was slow. I am very sad about what happened to a certain someone... They never explained how/who made her forget what happened.. I have a feeling it is going to be heart breaking when she remembers.. They also didn't mention Skimmer again, when she had a crucial part in how it all ended. And I really didn't like Trent in this one... ...more
