The most hallucinogenic sci-fi/fantasy novel I’ve read. Philip K. Dick loved amphetamines and it shows. I finished this page-turner in a day.

Written in 1969, the book is set in an implausible 1992. Human race has colonized the moon and Mars. When people die, they can live a period of half-life: bodies kept in cold suspension and brains hooked up in a dream world which allows them to be reached by people living outside. Not my favorite PHD but really fun. LOVED that my favorite narrator did this one. Made it all the more fun. One of those books that be read in a day so would recommend as a great beach read for the sci-fi inclined.
