WAR IS PEACE.

FREEDOM IS SLAVERY.

IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH.

This book was good... but sometimes too preachy for me. Part 2 went on and on when I was reading the parts that took place from the book that was given out. It’s been long enough that this was almost a first read for me. It is a very good book, undeniably, but I found it very slow in places (excerpting a book in the middle of it was painful and frankly felt a little heavy-handed). Prescribed reading when I was at school.

I loved the imagery here.
The analogies of perfection and supremacy still ring true today.

A fascinating insight into an imagined future
