What Members Thought
I'm usually not a fan of modern memoirs. I have to admit, at the beginning of the book, I was kind of put off - it seemed like it was just a story of a privileged woman who was unsatisfied with her life, so she had decided to run from all her responsibilities, instead of dealing with them. I can't tell you why my opinion on the book changed, but it did. While some may find this book inspiring, I only found it self serving. The author constantly has a series of good luck activities which my cynic self only finds fake. The book brought forth some intresting tales and at points you can't help but wish you were there as well but in the end I feel a higher sense of self in a negative way from the writer which turned me off the book.
