Oh my lands...I think I have to come back to this one.
Needless to say, this book felt like being back in the good old days [of reading! of reading!!] where you could just immerse yourself into the world, like getting into a hot bath after a long day of driving cattle. (lmao). I read recently on Reddit that third-person omniscient narrative is not so popular these days, and while it certainly had its limitations in this book, even those were used to great effect and wove a wonderful cast of char ...more
