I had no intention to read The Girl on the Train. I knew it was a New York Times bestseller and I knew that it was getting a lot of buzz here on Goodreads. So when my dad read it and couldn't stop raving about it I was curious. Both my dad and I tend to have the same taste when it comes to Mystery novels, as well as other genres.
So when he mailed it to me I thought it would be the perfect chance to give this book a try. Well, I finished The Girl on the Train in less than 24 hours!

Oh man I loved this book!
It was so interesting, and for an adult novel - which I don't normally read - I really enjoyed it.
I'm either really gullible, or its done well, but it had me guessing all the time.
The main protagonists aren't very likeable. But strangely I ended up somewhat liking them...
I guess I'm very sadistic in that way haha.
But definitely a good read that I'd recommend. ...more

oh my word I just can't believe the turn of events in this book! I never expected to be sucked into the book as quick as I did but I am so glad I decided to pick this up and read it after my boyfriends mom got finished with it. I loved every page of it and can't wait to continue reading her novels.

Wow! What a ride. I had a feeling about Megan and what was going on, but didn't know for sure until all was revealed. Having an unreliable narrator, like Rachel, makes the story so much more interesting because you really don't know who or what info to trust. This story was so much deeper and darker than I originally thought, which was a pleasant surprise.
