Read to refresh my memory after reading a teen "inspired by" novel: Tempestuous: A Modern-Day Spin on Shakespeare's The Tempest. The play felt really brief and not as "deep" as other Shakespeare. I had also forgotten what a brief time-span it covers and what a prick Prospero was to his servant sprites and Caliban. This does not seem, to me, a play that benefits from reading only.
