I really enjoyed this novel!
It's unfortunate that I was ill whilst attempting to read this (I still am ill right now)
That is why it took me so long as the illness put me in a slump.
But this book is packed full of adventure.
I really enjoyed going along with Jacob and the other peculiar children on their quest.
The illustrations are so fascinating and they really help you to picture everything that goes on.

Listened to this one on audio. The narrator is amazing for this book. The book starts off right where book one finished. It was very fast paced and enjoyed meeting new characters. The only thing that confused me is because I saw the movie I kept getting Emma and Olive confused in my brain while reading because their abilities were switched. Why do movies always alter the books? It confuses the reader!
I enjoyed Hollow City much more than the first book. There was so much more travelling and adventure! I can't wait to finish the trilogy and see what happens with everyone.

This was a fantastic sequel! It picked up right where Miss Peregrine’s left off and took off running. There was so much more character development that we didn’t really get to see in the first book because Ransom Riggs was setting up the world and everything that was going to start happening. So getting to see how these characters developed and changed throughout the course of this book was fantastic!
