Apparently this author was a writer on Arrested Development, which after reading this novel, I can see. If you liked both Arrested Development and, say, Big Little Lies, you’ll probably get a kick out of this. It touches on some serious themes like depression, but honestly, what I’d really call this novel is pure entertainment.
