This book is truly inspiring, because it's real. Conor had no intention of staying in Nepal, and certainly did not expect to change his life as well as those of the Nepali children. I love his story of how anyone can make a difference, if they are open to the opportunity. ...more

Like so many of us, Conor Grennan was going about his normal life when an opportunity came that changed his life forever but only because he let it change him. His adventures in Nepal show the good that one person can do despite overwhelming odds to the contrary.

I really loved this book. Conor Grennan has a very easy style of writing, as well as seeming to possess innumerable talents. I was just lost in his true story. Definitely a book worth reading, and re-reading. Even my 7 year old was into it. Don't miss it! ...more
