I would give this 3 1/2 stars. She has an amazing story and an inspiring voice. But I couldn't help feeling some of the big events were a bit glossed over. She wrote this at such a young age, and so soon after her shooting, I can't help but wonder what her thoughts will be when she's had some time to adjust and gain more perspective. A simply written book, as to be expected given her age when she wrote it, but her strength, resilience, and convictions come shining through. Just an amazing woman. To think she started being an activist at 10 years old while living in the middle of terror. What was I doing then besides going on long bike rides and playing in the creek? She is quite humbling.
