What Members Thought
I would give this 3 1/2 stars. Erik Larson provides great narrative about interesting events in history and this is no exception. He weaves an interesting fabric around the actual sinking including the U-Boat that attacked the Lusitania, the top secret Room 40 that could see it coming and purposely didn't warn them, and the romantic life of President Wilson. My only gripe is with the depiction of people on the Lusitania itself - he introduced so many people at such a surface level that I couldn'
