What Members Thought
There are some interesting tidbits in here, but it's a bit meandering. It takes several approaches to the history of New Orleans around the turn of the last century - history of jazz, politics of Storyville, an axe murderer... all of which are interesting in their own way, but the book doesn't tie them together into one cohesive story or draw any conclusions. It's as though the author didn't have enough for three separate books and just cobbled them together. For those interested in New Orleans
