This is a quick read for non-fiction, and has great history of both Chicago and prostitution. You find yourself rooting for the madames that are the subject of this book, and really wishing that you could have seen their Everleigh Club as it was at its most popular. Plus, this book explains where the term "getting laid" - or is it leighed? - comes from.
