I believe this may be one of the better books I will read in 2014. This is the true story of perhaps the most prolific serial killer in American history. Charles Cullen was no mercy killer - he was a straight up crazy murderer. The first half of this book focuses on Cullen himself, which is chilling enough. However, the book gets truly engrossing in the second half which details the investigation that leads to his arrest, and how difficult it was to gather evidence. It is difficult to know what ...more

Absolutely riveting. I have been recommending this book to everyone. The added dimension for me, working in hospitals my entire career, was the criminal (my words) mismanagement of hospital administrators and human resource departments who "allowed" this to continue, unabated, for so many years.
