this was a really good reread and I think it definitely got me out of a reading slump. I never liked this book before bc of the trauma I endured reading this when I was like 11 🫣
but I really enjoyed it this time! I liked reading this and thinking what would I do in that situation?🤔( I'd definitely die)

This book….. AHH. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I watched the movie a few years ago, and I NEED to watch it again!!!! I forgot how intense it is. It had me at the edge of my seat the whole way through. I cannot wait to read the next books in the series. I’ll get to it at some point….. Sind I have 73 books on my bookshelves I need to read. 😬😬
I fell in LOVE with Peeta the Bread Boy, Made Me cry until my tears ran dry according to my Rating system.... THIS GETS FIVE STARS!!!!!!! REALLY Gory and def a Cliffhanger but I CANT WAIT to READ 2!!! if u have not read READ!! and btw..... KATNISS IS ON FIREEE!!!! <33333

This book is so damn good. Just as good as it was when I was 15.
There’s something about the world building, the characters and their development, the plot, all of it is just unmatched and ties together so fucking nicely. So many crucial details that are missed from the films.
I’m obsessed with Haymitch. I love that he becomes a sort of father figure to Katniss, especially after reading Sunrise on the Reaping and knowing his relationship to her own father. In another life, he’d be Uncle Haymitch, ...more

I really enjoyed this book! I could not put this down and was at the edge of my seat while reading this. The reason this book is not 5 stars to me is because I really disliked the ending.
