Cynthia wrote a *~killer~* debut novel. Her ability to capture nuances was incredible, character development on point, story was devilishly dazzling.
The top review for this says they felt like they were sitting at a bar in NYC, smoking a cigarette and drinking a martini while reading this book and I couldn’t agree more. I did not grow up in New York in the 80s doing cocaine with my friends (lol) but I resonated deeply with Nina and her teenage girl experience. Loved!
