It was like a murder mystery where you can see each clue as it happens and then you wait for it to show up. There's also a dark undertone to the whole book, even the flashbacks. The narrator is clearly depressed. (No spoilers but,) the ending is very open ended. If you like things to be tied up then this book will drive you mad at the end. ...more
