Oh boy. Colin's arrogant ass could have just killed this book. Luckily the rest was a dream.

I guess this is an example of what can happen when you re-read a book. I guess there is always a chance it won’t read the same and your view of the story will change.

My thoughts from my first read of this still stands, for the most part. Colin was still a jerk, until he wasn't. Sybil was still a bit of a ditz who at times seemed to good to be true. I actually thought at one point: "Am I reading about a fairytale princess?" That's how unbelievable she came across at times.
I've been known to prefer my heroines have a bit more backbone that Sybil exhibits, but if she did it would go against how she came across on the page. I was to ...more
