I usually enjoy reading this writing duo when I need something fun and sweet yet also has a twist and turn in the story. Happily Ever After did not disappoint.

I liked both the Sadie and Sebastian BUT there was one eye rolling moment with Sadie that I seriously had to walk away because it was just so ridiculous. To me, the star of the story was Birdie, Sebastian’s daughter. She was just adorable with such a big heart and the reason Sadie and Sebastian come together.

It has been a very long time since I read a Vi Keeland book and although Penelope Ward has crossed my radar I have never taken to any of her books. But I read the blurb here and I was on board, so on board that I could not put this book down and although I should have been sleeping and tidying up my love for this book won out.

I am a huge sucker for single dad romance and this ticked all the boxes. There were moments were I just couldn't stop laughing.

One thing is to send something to the girl because it touched her heart and another is to get to the place where she knows the girl will be, she had the opportunity to tell the girl's father the truth but she did not, because she needed a few minutes to recover because he uncovered her and did not know how to act, then she gets upset that he mentions the dead wife when he tells her how they opened the restaurant, so she wants him to get all the credit, she also gets upset when she sees the photo ...more
