It has been a very long time since I read a Vi Keeland book and although Penelope Ward has crossed my radar I have never taken to any of her books. But I read the blurb here and I was on board, so on board that I could not put this book down and although I should have been sleeping and tidying up my love for this book won out.

One thing is to send something to the girl because it touched her heart and another is to get to the place where she knows the girl will be, she had the opportunity to tell the girl's father the truth but she did not, because she needed a few minutes to recover because he uncovered her and did not know how to act, then she gets upset that he mentions the dead wife when he tells her how they opened the restaurant, so she wants him to get all the credit, she also gets upset when she sees the photo

I don't even know where to start with this review. This is one of my top 5 reads for 2020 though. I loved absolutely everything about this book.
It all started with a letter to Santa from a little girl named Birdie.
Sadie is such an awesome person. The little wishes that she made come true for Birdie. But things did spiral afterwards. But they were meant to be.
Sebastian is doing the best he can. He's a widow and a single dad. Plus he owns a restaurant. He's a great dad to Birdie though.
