This is one epic story filled with pirates, shipwrecks, captures, rescues, sword fights, love triangles, and hidden treasure. This read like a movie and I was hooked. This book took me back to when I was a teenager and couldn’t get enough of these tales. Even though it is historical it felt “ modern” in its storytelling which I appreciated. I highly recommend this “new take “ on an old tale. 5 swashbuckling stars!!

This was a pretty good read. This book was long to long at times. Bennett Sharp is a lady pirate who took over her father's shop when he was caught and hung her mother committed suicide as a result she was fourteen years old. Seven years later she is captain of her own ship. She has a loyal crew that has her back. Some of the language in this book was hard to get use to and it took me awhile to warm up to Bennett. I devoured this book in two days. It was long and I needed every word of it too. This story will whisk you away to another time of adventure, betrail, love, and amazing storytelling!

I love it when a book completely takes you away and this one is that, an adventure. A book that I didn't want to end. Sea of Ruin is EPIC!!! Let’s me start by saying I am not always inclined to read historical romance novels. When I saw Pam Godwin had decided to pen such a book, I didn’t hesitate to jump in head first!! What I discovered what an EPIC read that took me through the perils of life on the high seas. The plot that encompasses this book does not disappoint. It is gritty, soul wrenching, and unequivocally erotic!!

Another confession…..it is a rarity that I EVER read a book more than once. Why? I tend to remember EVERYTHING contained in a story. So – I derive no pleasure from repeating a story. After gazing upon the last page of Sea of Ruin – I found myself immersed in wanting to feel the thrill of the adventure once more. So – I read it all over again! Then for thrills……I read it a third time. Seriously….this book is that GOOD!!! Add Sea of Ruin to your reader NOW!!
