When this was first released, I put off reading it for a while. I was nervous because my friends said the beginning was confusing. So, when I dipped my toe into the water, of course I was confused, but not as much as I thought I would be. I was, once again, sucked into a world with wolves and witches, the way only T. J. Klune’s flawless writing can do.

If this book doesn't make your heart sing, you might want to check to see if your heart is still beating! I honestly didn't expect to enjoy Robbie & Kelly's story so much, but it works in every way. My heart broke. My heart swelled with love. My heart sang. Romance, humor, intensity, suspense, shockers, heart-eye moments . . . Heartsong has it all. I'm not sure if this book broke me, or if I was infected with the same thing Robbie was, or if I totally missed a book somewhere because for most of the first half of the book I was confused AF. Seriously, I re-downloaded the book in case I had the wrong one and nope, still confused. The last third picked up the pace and story and was a huge improvement on the rest of the book, but not enough to really save it for me.

3 1/2 "Blue, blue, blue" Stars.

This book was so heavy for me. These poor Bennetts, that I do love so very much, have been and continue to go through so much. They seriously need a break.

Also, I listened to the audiobook for this one and unfortunately I don't recommend it. Robbie had a very strange accent, and several other characters' voices were just off, imo. Grating.

I have high anxiety about Brothersong but I have to see this through to the end. To the green. Always and forever a #wolfgirl

This series sure sunk its claws into me, and I don’t want to leave Green Creek. So much wolf and witch angst and love and loss and loyalty. We need more packpackpack ~ Best series ever!!

Thank you for letting me read this ARC! I haven’t read the other novels in this series, but that didn’t make the reading experience negative. I loved this story and will surely read the rest of the series soon! I loved the lgbt love in this book and truly enjoyed the epic adventure! If a reader liked another TJ Klune book, I think they will really enjoy this one.
