I cannot tell you how much I adored this book! ❤️ The story was so unique and full of heart, and to make it even better, the narrator was one of the best I’ve ever listened to! What a treat!

This book was deeply touching on so many different levels, and I can’t stress how much I came to love all of these characters. I will be beyond excited if Amy Harmon continues to write more in the series! She never disappoints, and this beautiful story is one of my favorites in a long line of hits from AH! 😍

I really enjoyed this historical fantasy! With the ruthless king, fighting clans, curses and differing views on religion, it really reminded me of the TV Series, The Last Kingdom which I love.

This story of the first girl child and her protector, the tongue-tied Temple Boy is a love story full of action, betrayal, hope and sacrifice.
