I was a little nervous when I started this book because I can’t remember the last time I read Sci-Fi. Did I struggle with some parts? Yes I did, but because of T. J. Klune’s beautiful writing and ability to tell a heartwarming story of pure love, I absolfreakinglutely enjoyed this one.

There isn’t a lot of romance in this one. It’s more about two broken men, Nate and Alex, who come together to help a young girl, Artemis Darth Vader. The girl is special and right from the beginning, you ...more

The thing is, TJ can write. Like no one else that I've ever come across I think. I'm sure I could pick up a book and not know he wrote it, but soon figure it out pretty quick from the prose.

This book is typical TJ in style, but there was a little something missing that stopped it being a 5 star read like all of his other books I've read bar one. And maybe, like that book (Murmuration, which even now months later I'm still not sure if I even liked it) I'm not totally sure I get it.
