This was a really good book so good that I stayed up all night reading it. The kinky President. Greer Galloway is the granddaughter of a former Vice President and she met Maxen "Ash" Colchester when she was 16 years old he was a Captain in the Army and ten years older than her and although he kissed her nothing else happened. Four years after that they meet again only she finds out he has a fiancée and she is heartbroken so as she is leaving a party she runs into his best friend Embry Moore who This was a really good book so good that I stayed up all night reading it. The kinky President. Four years after that they meet again only she finds out he has a fiancée and she is heartbroken so as she is leaving a party she runs into his best friend Embry Moore who is also heartbroken and she spends the night with him and losing her virginity to him and when he doesn't call she is once again heartbroken. Fast forward five years Embry who is now Vice President turns up in her office telling her that the President wants to see her. Ash has wanted her for ten years his wife Jenny died of cancer a year ago and he sees as his chance to have Greer. This book was really hot the President is Kinky he is a dark and dirty Dom he has also been hurt in the past he was adopted as a baby and at his dead wives funeral he finds out who is father is turns out his father was President when Greer's grandfather was vice President. Ash also has a couple of deep dark secret's and on of them being that he has been in love with his best friend and Vice President for years and he even asked him to marry him twice and was turned down. Embry feels like a third wheel he is in love with both of them as well. This book was told from Greer POV she was raised around politics so she knows how to play the game. I did not like her cousin Abilene she was a jealous B*tch and I believe that she had something to do with the cliffhanger in this book. Ash warned Greer about Abilene 10 years ago and when she tried to kiss him and she didn't listen I would have cut her off after that. Greer feels insecure when around her she thinks that she is not as pretty as she is and she has two powerful men in love with her. This was a really good book and I was really glad that the author gave us backstory on these three and it was really hot the sex scenes were really good. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am really looking forward to reading books 2 and 3.

For Greer Galloway, it’s the life that has surrounded her after being raised by her grandfather. As the ex-Vice President, Greer’s grandfather still had a heavy hand within the political realm, and loved to let Greer be the ‘eyes and ears’ of the social scene.

One party that Greer attended would play a pivotal role in her future. An age difference between Ash and Greer was the only thing that stopped these two from acting on their attraction. A fact that haunted Greer when she returned to school to renew her studies. Ash headed out to the battlefield and began his life as a decorated war hero.

It would be years before the two would cross paths again. Bringing with that reunion another set of ‘obstacles’ that Greer did not foresee. A jilted heart led Greer to cross paths with Embry, a fellow soldier that served with Ash during the war. The two drowned their heartache in a night filled with laughter, longing and love. Fate would gain intervene in Greer’s romantic notions. Leaving her heartbroken when Embry doesn’t contact her after their encounter.

Both men were absent in Greer’s life for many years. Allowing her to concentrate on her studies and desire to teach. A fulfilling career, but the loneliness in Greer’s heart still remained. Then the unexpected occurred….Embry would enter her life once again. Now the Vice President - Embry meets with Greer to summon her to meet with the President.

Nothing could keep Greer from meeting with the President. Ash was still as captivating as the moment they met, but so much had changed in both their lives. Greer now finds herself caught up in a world that she has tried so hard to shy away from. Yet the pull of two powerful and unforgettable men will draw her deeper into the temptation that follows. How can Greer stand the assault on her mind, body, and soul? No one said a life in politics would be easy. Greer is going to find out it is much harder than she ever could have imagined.

What a tempting and tasty treat Sierra Simone packed within the covers of American Queen!! It is nothing that you would expect!! The plot of this story spans several years, and builds upon Greer’s life and political connection. What you will not expect is the complicated relationships that Greer finds herself embroiled within. Readers will have a love/hate relationship with many of the people in Greer’s life….. Abilene, Merlin, Ash, Embry, and her grandfather. Each character is full of such originality and substance!!

Are you a fan of erotica? Well….get ready for some serious plots that revolve around dominance and submissive behavior. It also touches on some untraditional context of what couples expect in a relationship. It is both thrilling and tantalizing. If you are offended by any type of sexual encounter that extends beyond a typical MF relationship, then you should realize this book will not fall into the ‘vanilla sex’ category.

As I mentioned before, the plot is very intricate. However - I figured out some MAJOR factors in the plot VERY early on in the book. It was a couple of different phrases that instantly made me realize what was to come. Embry mentioned something when he first met up with Greer that immediately had me guessing whom he was referring to and where it was headed. Also - a phrase that deals with the cliffhanger. There was several times in the story that gave prelude to what was coming. Did this spoil the book? Ummm….NO!!! Did it make me not want to finish the book? Absolutely NOT!! It just took the element of surprise out of the equation for me. However - the complexity of all of the different plot angels still kept me vested in this tale.

What else can I say about American Queen? It’s definitely a jam packed mix of power, politics, and prowess!! A story that will leave you thinking about all the elements that combine to create this erotically charged story that is as unique as the characters within the story. Love it or hate it…..American Queen is definitely a novel that everyone should add to their reading list!! ...more

Audio Review 🎧 Possible Spoilers?

I am very conflicted with this book. I will throw this out there now, I am not continuing with this series.

Things I really liked:
♥ The narrator
♥ Greer in the beginning
♥ Man oh man, can Sierra Simone write some good sexy scenes.

Things I didn't like
✖ Did they forget that they were doing a Camelot theme half way through?
✖ WHY DID YOU NOT GIVE US MORE EMBRY AND ASH TOGETHER! (I am ~~a bit~~ VERY bitter)
