No está mal, la premisa está bien clara en el resumen y la historia sin ser nada nuevo, está bien relatada, sin embargo tengo que volver a ponerlo en la lista de: chico nerd pasa años atormentado por el popular pero eso no impide que el más mínimo gesto amable de su maltratador le haga ponerse de rodillas, metafóricamente y no tanto, lo siento pero no soporto para nada no el tema del bullying, sino que se trate como si no fuese más que una bromilla tonta.

I really like the way Riley Hart can spin a story, tie in a shared past together but make it about what happening in the now, she is one of my favorites. I look forward to Caleb's return, I'm pretty sure Ryan will be his leading guy...I like them both so much already. ...more

I wonder if Shane didn’t live in a small town with like zero love interests he’d have been so quick to fall in love with the guy who really made his life Hell.

Shane is just that guy and shame on his Mother. Not shame on her illness, shame on her for letting her son be her only caretaker and not getting the right help she needed. Enjoyable
I love most everything that Riley Hart releases, and I’m playing catch up here as this book has been out for a long while.
It took me almost to 80% to really get a feel for these two as a couple. At times, the storyline felt repetitive and drawn out, the characters almost childish.
Maxwell (who now goes by the name Van) and Shane lived in the same small town but “Van” had moved on to L.A. and Shane stayed behind and well, continued his small-town life. They weren’t friends at all. If a ...more
