In this offshoot from the Hard Ink series, The Raven Riders are an MC whose motto is Ride, Fight, Defend. That’s pretty much all you need to know - they aren’t your one percenters and in fact actively try to be anything but. While biker books are usually on the grittier side of romances, the Raven Riders are kinder, gentler folk. They definitely fall in the 1-2 (for some violence) on the WTFery scale, so it’s completely safe for my fluffy bunny friends.

Shelves: biker-mc, abused-heroine, woman-on-the-run

3.0 RATING- I normally enjoy Laura Kaye books and love a good "woman on the run" story line so I was excited when I first saw the blurb for Ride Hard. I wasn't so excited when I saw the less than stellar reviews that came from several of my GR friends once the book released. I decided to give it a try but only after it became available at my library. So what'd I think?

This is the first full length novel in the Raven Riders series. There is a novella that bridges the Hard Ink series and this one. I highly suggest that you read Hard as Steel first. If you haven't read the Hard Ink series, that's ok, but the characters do pop up in this book as well. Trust me, you want to read that series as well. I loved it and I'm loving this one as well.
