This is a seriously good book. As I said before, even if you’re not keen on motorbikes, I’d still give this book a try. It’s got everything – bad boys, action, family ties, relationships, romance and smokin’ hot sex. Yes, there’s violence, but it’s an integral part of the plot. I can’t say a bad thing about this book, to be honest. It’s a long novel, but I whizzed through it in a matter of days and loved it. Marie finds herself in a world of trouble all thanks to her baby brother who has gotten himself in a life threatening mess with the Reapers MC.
Good thing for Marie she has garnered the attention of Horse, one of the members of the MC. He gives her an "opportunity" to try and help her brother by going home with him and doing whatever he says.
The story starts out in the present and is then told from both Marie's and Horse's POV in flashbacks until it catches up to the present again.

Holy shit! Some things felt too over-the-top for me. But I mostly really liked the book. Loved how Marie kicked butt at the end. Probably won't re-read anytime soon, but I would be into reading more books about the Reapers, if JW is planning on any.

The first of the Reapers series. Excellent book. Original, intelligent, witty, no instant love, likable characters with realistic MC culture life in the club. Realistic violence, really hot sex. Professionally edited and it shows. This is a must read. Written by a talented, educated author, which also shows.
