These were my immediate thoughts when I finished and after sleeping on it, I feel pretty much the same. I just don't think I liked this story, not that it wasn't good. It's more a case of "it's not you, it's me". It kind of made me more sad than happy. I don't like a book to make me sad. I think it all boiled down to Becca's mother. I wanted to strangle her. Intense. Sexy. Passionate. Raw. Gritty. Edgy.

When I think of a gritty MC romance, this author is the first I think of. Since her first MC romance, I became a fast fan of this author's writing style. This is not your mama's romance. It is edgy, intense, and at times hard to read. It will make you step out of the box and really look at the ugly side of the world but with that she has the ability to turn it into something beautiful and amazing.

This was my first Joanna Wylde book and it certainly won't be my last....
MC books are my absolute favorite type of book to read and with this come very high standards which I need to be met ..... This book ticked them all and still gave me more.....
This story was jammed backed with action, drama, violence, passion and fucking....
It set my pulse racing from the first word and kept me hanging till very last one .... I was taken on a twisted journey... Only MC can give .....

I loved Puck's story. And no one other than someone like Becca can handle him or bring him to his knees. Due to a traumatic experience they shared Puck watches Becca in the shadows.
