3 3/4 "Tis a mystery." Stars!
I'm going up a start on this reread. I liked this much better this time around. I must have been in an impatient mood the first time around. This story is obviously setting the stage for something great. I hope... Brief thoughts this time-
1. Mac is an idiot, but I still like her and I'm hoping for some growth and maturity as the series progresses.

3.5 SLOWLY SPARKLING STARS!
I listened to this book and I have to be honest if I'd been reading it I probably would of abandoned it as it seemed to take quite a while for it to grab me! But it did indeed grab me by the end and now I'm hooked and hoping book two will be easier to get into. ...more

Entertaining urban fantasy that follows the reluctant heroine and sexy but contentions hero tropes. Mac's flakiness and obsession with fashion coupled with her 'she's the only one paranormal abilities constantly brought to mind one girl in the all world I liked it enough to go on to the second, but it lost half a star for the cliff-hanger ending.

Holy Hotness Batman...
This is quickly becoming my new favorite series I am sort of glad I am coming upon this rather late so that the amazing cliffhanger doesn't leave me wanting more for too long LOL
I don't know if I hate V'lan or Barron the most. I am so torn and so excited to get to the next installment.
