Reading these 1990 portrayals, in succession to 1984 reflections from Winnipeg; culminated in a stylistic comparison I found rewarding. The treatise by P.J. Peters echoed my familiarity with home. I wondered if other poets liked to rhyme. Mari Pineo does but it was fun to see at once, her stanzas differing greatly. She isn’t insistent that sentences match; which give a negligent, loose feel.
