2007. that was my first attempt at reading this book. years later I got the audio book and got more than halfway through and put it on pause. after making it a buddy read I was able to finish in less than a week! I will applaud the way the author described everything in gruesome detail. I'll be continuing this series.

I really enjoyed the first half of this against the titular "Clickers" but the last half of the book featuring the "dark ones" was a bit of a let down. It's been some years since I read this one and back then I would have been full of praise for it but have since read far more engrossing stories from J.F.
