DNF at 20%. So first off the way the book is written is driving me absolutely insane. So Poppy lives in New York and has a job who pays her to pretty much travel the world for free with a business card. Alex lives in their hometown of Ohio as a high literature teacher and these two have NOTHING in common. They haven’t talked in 2 years and Poppy really misses the vacations she used to go on with Alex. So Poppy tried to text him and see if she can’t rekindle their relationship again after 2 years

I really want to say this is a favorite. I love Emily Henry's writing and characters and stories in general (in her adult books), but I don't think I can honestly say this one nor Beach Read really Knocked me off my feet, you know? But I enjoyed them both immensely! I just can't keep it on my faves shelf :( Hopefully Book Lovers will end up being a certain 5 stars for me!!
Side-note tho I did absolutely ADORE ...more

People We Meet on Vacation was such a cute book - easy to read, and enjoyable throughout. The plot was a little predictable, but that didn't matter to me. I knew what I was getting into by picking this one up.
Alex and Poppy's relationship when they were good was so fun for me, and when they were in their rough patches it made me want scream at the pages telling them to just admit how they feel. Then by the end of the book I had such a heartwarming feeli ...more

Great summer reading! I picked up this book because I really enjoyed her first book, “Beach Read”. This one is so much better. A must read!
Quite enjoyable!! Love the friendship these two have ... slow burn... but wonderful storyline and well told. 👏 I couldn't get enough of Alex and her.

I listened to the audiobook and the narrator is so good!!
fast paced, entertaining and keeps you on your toes.
