Yep. I'm hooked. And I knew it, Maas! Every. Time. Once ya hit the last 200 pages of her books, clear your schedule! And gahhh that ending! I liked this one more than the first in the series, and I'm super pumped to start the third. Onward!
Also, I can see a major improvement in her writing already. Yay! And I don't hate this love triangle....

After winning the competition last book, Celaena is now the King's Champion. He has tasked her with finding and killing the people on his list of traders/rebels. Only she's not entirely sure they are the bad guys. She secretly does her own investigation into the rebels and it results in her loosing people important to her. (In more ways than one!)
This book definitely amps up the fantasy and magic and there's a huge twist at the end. I love where it's going. Looking forward to Celaena causing hea ...more

Just as good, if not better, than the first book. The end was perfect!
