What a fantastic book. I loved, loved this story and this author is quickly becoming one of my favourites in fiction writing. I have spent quite a while just reading crime of late but I thought I would take a quick detour out of crime for a book and wow... this reminded me of how great other genre's can be. This was the second book that I read by Diane Chamberlain. Both of which I listened to on audio through Overdrive. Although I kind of figured some things out somewhat early on, I greatly enjoyed the book. It wasn't quite 5 stars, but it was a close 4.5 stars. I can't say much without giving things away, but I'm definitely going to continue reading this author. ...more

I read this in 2 days. Every time I put it down, I had to pick it up again to find out what happened before and what was going to happen next.

I enjoyed the characters and the plot.
