Oh man this book was amazing and probably one of my best reads this year. The emotions I feel now that I'm done run the gamut really. It was so easy to get attached to the characters and picture certain celebrities as I read this book. Which is why a lot of the angsty stuff hurt so badly. I will also say that I didn't expect that twist towards the end but at the same time I sort of did after the bit in the book right before it which is hard to explain but it was a gut feeling that the twist whic ...more

Cuando a un libro le doy 5 estrellas, es porque la trama me gustó, los personajes me parecieron interesante y en general, la historia se me hace excelente. Esta vez es algo diferente. Los siete maridos de Evelyn Hugo trasciende como un libro que supera las expectativas, que atrapa y que va más allá. Es una historia que se quedará en mi vida porque, he de decir, que es el mejor libro que he leido y leeré en toda mi vida.

This BOOK..oh my..This book instantly shot it's way into my favourites list!
The writing was so beautiful and I couldn't get myself to put it down..so I just devoured this beautiful book in one sitting! I fell in love with Evelyn Hugo, with the characters, the story..just all of it!
This is definitely worth all of the love it receives on social media.

the only character i truly cared about is evelyn. people might hate her but to me she’s just seizing opportunities when it is made available to her. she’s queen.

maybe i cared a little about harry cameron. i liked him. i like how he’s always there for evelyn, being so understanding and considerate.

celia on the other hand is annoying af. i wonder if she ever truly loved evelyn. she’s so inconsiderate and self centred. every time she appeared i just want to dnf this book (thank god i made it thru) ...more

Una de las mejores lecturas de este año, es una joya.

No congenié con Evelyn, tampoco con Monique, sentí aversión hacia ambas. Pero no se interpuso en el disfrute de la lectura, pues aunque llegados a un punto la historia me pareció densa y aburrida, la vida de Evelyn se nos presenta de una manera tan sumamente original e interesante en su totalidad que no puedes dejar de leer ni aunque quieras. I really enjoyed this book!! The characters were nuanced, flawed, and fully human, yet they were easy to love and relate to. This is definitely one of my favorites.
