4.5 stars!! i loved this sm it def got better towards the end and was SO addictive. scarlett and julian have my heart 😖😖 THEY'RE LITERALLY THE CUTEST I CAN'T THEIR CHEMISTRY 😻😻 scarlett annoyed me a little at the beginning bc of her beliefs but i LOVE that she's a dynamic character. i'm still reeling over that ending, but i do think it was a little rushed i'm ngl. i feel like the other books are going to be better bc the first book is always the set up so it can be a little boring but either way ...more

If I'm honest, I understand why some people go straight to the OUABH series and skip this, but I really wanted to read this so the OUABH makes more sense. I just found the writing was quite childish and it took me so long to connect to Scarlett and Donatella (loved Julian straight away though hehehehehe). This book - amazing. I love how they describe Scarlett's feelings as colors (I learned a lot about what colors mean o-o)
